"Popular" social network game
2010.04.11Early prototype of a game about students passing notes in class to spread gossip. Every student has some degree of affinity or antipathy for every other student, and by spreading gossip about them, you cause people to change their feelings about you. This version has no real art; everything is done with SDL shapes and lines.
early demo of Arcadia/Market demake
2009.12.02Footage of a WIP version of my Arcadia/Market "demake" for Doom 2. Here, monster teleport linedefs are used to fake the Houdini splicer intro.
box2d gamma4 idea
2009.12.02An idea for the Gamma 4 "one button game" competition, done in about 30 minutes using the PyBox2D-pygame framework. Here, the one button changes your size. The expanding and contracting to create lift and momentum I would describe as "mildly original", just not sure what the deeper implications are if any, or if it's worth pursuing.
sound visualization prototype
2009.08.30A quick experiment with pygame's pixel arrays and sound arrays. I've been enjoying working in very low native resolutions like 160x120 and 80x60 recently, then upscaling to a more normal size. Sadly both bugs in my code and the software I used to capture it introduce lots of lag into the audio.
